Good morning fellow disciples.
Everything that man makes will eventually be destroyed, no matter how beautiful it is. It doesn’t matter the purpose that it is used for, its lifetime is finite.
The only things that we have that are eternal are our spirits and our souls. What we do in this life will determine whether we will be useful for all eternity or not. Living our lives surrendered and submitted to the Lord God Almighty is the only way to truly have purpose for our lives.
Becoming a disciple of Christ makes us part of God’s Kingdom forever. We should be directing our admiration to God and those who become disciples of Christ.
However, as we think about our churches and the time, money, and effort that we place into building and maintaining them, we should be cognizant of the fact that one day they will be destroyed.
If you are one of those who put more emphasis on your building than the people who worship there, now is the time to repent and focus on the people.
Let us regain our Focus!
Let us redirect our focus to God’s Kingdom!
Let us love God the Father, love God the Son, love God the Holy Spirit, and love our fellow disciples!
