But concerning the dead being raised–have you not read in the book of Moses, [in the passage] about the [burning] bush, how God said to him, I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? [Exod. 3:2-6.] He is not the God of [the] dead, but of [the] living! You are very wrong.

Good morning fellow disciples.
Jesus answered the Sadducees question in the previous verse. Now He continues to correct their beliefs about God and death.
1. God is not the God of dead men.
Dead men can’t worship God. God doesn’t have relationship and fellowship with the dead.
2. God is the God of living men.
When God formed man, He only had relationship and fellowship with man when man became a living soul, after God breathed the breath of life into them.
3. Their understanding of scripture was wrong!
With these revelations from Jesus, we need to receive God’s truth and, we need to make the choice to accept God as our God. We only have this life to do it, because once we die we cannot make that choice.
Father God can only become your God when you are alive. Yes, we will all be raised from the dead, but we will then be judged. Some will live forever with God and some won’t.
Do you want to live forever with God?
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and Father God as your God!
It is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement.
God is a God of living men. While we have life let us take every opportunity to live for God and Love God . He has promised eternal life, He wants is alive eternally so we can worship Him.
