And the scribe said to Him, Excellently and fitly and admirably answered, Teacher! You have said truly that He is One, and there is no other but Him;

Good morning fellow disciples.

Don’t you get excited when someone speaks about God in a biblical way, in a way that shows that they have an understanding of scriptures, and in such a way that it shows that they have a deep abiding relationship and fellowship with God?

Do you see how excited the scribe was to hear Jesus’ answer?

This must have been how John the apostle felt when he wrote these words:

I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
3 John 1:4 HCSB, and

I was very glad to find some of your children walking in the truth, in keeping with a command we have received from the Father.
2 John 1:4 HCSB

“And the scribe said to Him, Excellently and fitly and admirably answered, Teacher! You have said truly that He is One, and there is no other but Him.”

There is no other God but God Almighty!

Prayer: Father God, there is no other God but You. We know Your commandments. We now have a holy relationship with You because of the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made. We humbly bow in obedience before You now Lord. We will walk in love, and we will proclaim You and Your kingdom in every situation we find ourselves. Amen.
