Good morning fellow disciples.
In this wicked world, what does Jesus tell you to expect?
“They will turn you over to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake as a testimony to them.”
Expect persecution!
Expect persecution from the established religious order!
Expect persecution from sinners!
Expect to be a testimony to kings and governors.
1. Expect to be the evidence or proof of Jesus’ teachings.
2. Expect to give a public recounting of your religious conversion or experience.
When we ask God questions, we sometimes get answers that we do not expect. So, are you willing to be persecuted for the sake of Jesus Christ?
Our christian lifestyle will determine the answer to that question.
The way we live, and our mode of readiness in our christian walk with Christ.
