But look to yourselves; for they will turn you over to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake as a testimony to them.

Good morning fellow disciples.
Look to yourselves!
You are Jesus’ disciples! You are commanded to go into the world to make disciples who will make disciples! Expect to be treated the same way the world treated Jesus! Know that God’s Holy Spirit is with you!
Jesus knew that He would be beaten, ridiculed and, crucified by religious people and sinners. He accepted His fate.
Now, He told His disciples to “look to themselves “. He told them what was awaiting them: “they will turn you over to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake as a testimony to them.”
Look to yourselves!
Prophecies are important, but how you live your lives for Jesus Christ is more important.
Focus on doing what God has called you to do!
