False Christs (Messiahs) and false prophets will arise and show signs and [work] miracles to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (those God has chosen out for Himself).

Good morning fellow disciples.
In yesterday’s devotional we heard Jesus say that “And then if anyone says to you, See, here is the Christ (the Messiah)! or, Look, there He is! do not believe it.”
Jesus tells us that He will NOT return during the oppression and tribulation that He predicted. He further warns His disciples {and us} many false Christ’s and false prophets will arise.
These false Christ’s and false prophets will show signs and miracles that will lead people astray. Even God’s chosen people might be led astray by them.
Are you one of God’s chosen people?
How much time do you spend reading and meditating on scripture?
How surrendered are you to The Spirit of God who lives in you?
-Holy Spirit is the One who gives understanding of God’s Word.
-Holy Spirit is the one who manifests in you so that you can discern false prophets and false/evil spirits.
Do you examine and test these persons who come in the name of the Lord?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, Your prophetic utterances and warnings are clear! Help us to read and understand. Holy Spirit, reveal to us the truth of these revelations.
We will heed Your warnings, Lord Jesus. We will not be deceived! Amen.
These are the days when we need to read the word more often and allow the spirit of God to guide us as we descern truth from error.
We definitely have to know the Truth before we can descern the false. Therefore it’s very important That we know the word of God; read it, memorize it, meditate on it n live it.🙏🧡
