A Conversation With Jesus About His Prophetic Utterance Part 14 – The Worst

By Andrew Williams – September 3, 2022

Pray that it may not occur in winter, For at that time there will be such affliction (oppression and tribulation) as has not been from the beginning of the creation which God created until this particular time–and positively never will be [again]. Mark 13:18‭-‬19 AMPC

Good morning fellow disciples.

Throughout time {past, present, and future,} there will be tribulations and oppression. However, what Jesus spoke about in His prophetic utterance would be the worst affliction that the world has ever seen or will ever see.

Imagine the worst possible oppression and tribulation that you can think of. What Jesus has predicted is worse than that! Do you want to be around when that happens?

Be encouraged! Even at that time my fellow disciples, God is looking out for us. Hear what Jesus says next:

“And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no human being would be saved (rescued); but for the sake of the elect, His chosen ones (those whom He picked out for Himself), He has shortened the days.” Mark 13:20 AMPC

God has shortened the days of tribulation because He loves us who are His chosen ones!

Isn’t that wonderful!

Prayer: Father God, even in the worst of times You are the best God. Because You love us, You always seek to find a way to save us from utter destruction. We love You Lord, and we thank You for being so compassionate towards us.

As we face tribulation, we know that we are never alone because You are always with us. Thank You, thank You, for being our God. Amen.

  1. JESUS said Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in Me.
No matter what happens He will care for us.
Let us live in obedience to His word.
